Fox, Byrd & Company Celebrates 50 Years

Fox, Byrd & Company’s accounting practice turns 50 this year.  The accounting and consulting firm is among a distinguished group of professional service firms in Dallas to reach the 50 year mark.  The practice was founded by Ed Fox in 1958 to service privately-held businesses, individuals and other entities in need of accounting services. Bob Byrd joined the firm in the 1970’s, and the firm has retained the names of its two founding principals ever since.

In 1999, the firm merged with Doll, Karahal and Company, P.C., a highly regarded group servicing the banking and government sectors.   In 2007, Moran & Associates, a local tax and advisory practice serving small businesses and individuals joined the firm. In addition to mergers, the firm has grown by attracting a significant number of business, government and individual clients. The firm has also strengthened its capabilities over the years through strategic hiring, and via its commitment to the continuous training and education of its professional staff.

Fox, Byrd and Company is proud to be a long-standing contributor to the Dallas business community and looks forward to 50 more years in service to businesses, governments, non-profit organizations and individuals.
