Frequently Asked Questions about Fox, Byrd & Company Client Worksites

What is a client worksite?
A client worksite is a password protected website that allows for the secure exchange of information between the firm and its clients. The exchange of documents using a client worksite is more secure than email. The documents are encrypted for additional security, and there is no chance of accidentally emailing a document to the wrong address.

What information does Fox, Byrd & Company put on my client worksite?
Information on the client worksite may include lists of major current projects, lists of items requested in order to complete those projects, links to contact information for firm personnel, and a document archive to store any documents that you would like us to make available to you, such as tax returns or financial statements from previous years.

What information do I upload to my client worksite?
You may upload any electronic document requested by us to your client worksite. The process is very simple and is much like attaching a document to an email message.

What are the benefits of using the client worksite?
Uploading information to the client worksite is a more secure means of transmission than email. In addition, we have found that communication on major projects is greatly improved when both firm personnel and client personnel are working from common shared lists and document libraries. This better communication results in well planned and managed projects, particularly in the case of major projects such as audit engagements involving multiple persons from both our office and our client’s offices.

Is there an example that I can see?
