Moran & Associates Merges with Fox, Byrd & Company

Moran & Associates, an accounting firm with over 30 years experience serving Dallas businesses, has merged with Fox, Byrd & Company. 

Mike Moran, the founder and head of Moran & Associates, said “We made a strategic decision to expand our capabilities by joining forces with Fox, Byrd & Company.  This better allows us to service our mid-size business clients with consulting, performance improvement, internal control, auditing and tax planning.  Fox, Byrd is very proactive in working with clients on tax planning, and we felt the combination was a good fit.”

Joining Fox Byrd as a shareholder is Mike Moran, CPA.   Mike graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and has been in practice for over 30 years.  He provides financial and tax planning for businesses and individuals, along with general business consulting for small and medium-sized companies.  He also is involved in estate and gift planning for individuals.

Along with Mike, David Rady, CPA has joined Fox, Byrd.  For the last 11 years, David has worked with small to medium-sized businesses and has a special focus in the food and beverage and entertainment industries.  Prior to his career in accounting he was a pianist and writer.  Jean Cox, CPA joins the firm along with Mike and David.  For over 20 years Jean has provided general accounting services.  Her specialty is the construction industry.
